The Great Flying Saucer Myth

The Great Flying Saucer Myth by Kelly L. Segraves

The Truth

But Jesus Christ does not need a flying saucer for clearly the Bible states that Jesus Christ is the almighty, all- powerful. Creator of the heavens and the earth. Colossians 1:16-17 tells us, "For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him: And he is before all things, and by him all things consist." In reality nothing came into existence apart from the power and design of Jesus Christ. To accept the saucerians’ claim that Jesus Christ is one of them and to support this claim with the Bible, totally ignores the true Biblical statements concerning Jesus Christ. No other book claims to hold the key to the ultimate origin of matter. No other book proclaims with certainty that the heavens and the earth were formed by the word of God. No other book specifically details the creation of life, man and time.

All of these things were created by the power of the Creator, Jesus Christ. Ultimately all things will be judged by this same powerful Creator of the heavens and earth. To state that Jesus Christ will return to this earth in a flying saucer is a total misrepresentation of the Bible. The One who created the heavens and the earth, who created the atmosphere and the very air itself, certainly does not need a mechanical vehicle to travel through space. The One who created, controls, and holds the atom together certainly has the power to exercise His dominion over it at will.

Since the Bible specifically states that Jesus is the Power that created all things and is the power that created all things and is the power that holds all things together,, is it logical to expect Him to return in a flying saucer? Surely we would expect one who has such power to use supernatural means to accomplish His purpose. As Jesus Christ created all things and established all the physical laws, He also has the power to change these laws at will. Laying aside His heavenly attributes He became a man, living a perfect, sinless life with a specific purpose to die on the cross for man’s sin. His death paid the price of death for all who would believe in His power. His resurrection from the dead proves His power over death. He then returned top heaven to sit at the right hand of God the Father. He warned the world that He would come again as Judge, but promised believers that He would take them to his heavenly home before the time of great tribulation. He will come again with the power at the great battle of Armageddon to defeat all the evil follower of Satan who have been misled and deceived into following false Christs. Ultimately every person will be judged in what the Bible says is the great white throne judgment. Those who have believed the truth will be given eternal life in heaven; those who have rejected the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ will be cast out. Having chose to follow evil and disbelieve God, they will be punished with Satan forever.
