The Great Flying Saucer Myth

The Great Flying Saucer Myth by Kelly L. Segraves

But What Does It Mean?

You may feel I have devoted a lot of space to these fantastic imaginations. True. Personally I think they are ridiculous. But, unfortunately, millions of people who have not been grounded in the Bible, (perhaps because you and I have not proclaimed the Word of God and stood behind what He has to say,) are believing this type of message. They believe it because of beings who come claiming supertechnological powers and because they come saying, "I am an angel of light, come to give you a message of light, come to bring you into a relationship with a wonderful Creator who caused the universe to come into existence by evolution." Personally, if a god does not have the power to create the universe, I do not think he has the right to be, my god anyway. UFOlogist blend evolution and the end times together and come up with a faith which includes the return of Christ. They claim to accept literally all the fulfillment’s of prophecy and predict the same things the Bible teaches.

Notice again what the Word of God has to say in Luke 21 about the end times. Jesus said, "Take heed that ye be not deceived; for many shall come in my name, saying I am Christ; and the time draweth near. Go ye not, therefore, after them." Notice that this is not the absolute end time. This is not the tribulation period. This is the period before the tribulation period. We have not received all the other signs yet. Christ says do not be deceived and He predicts that there shall be great signs and wonders from the heavens. Again, Matthew 24:24 tells us, "For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall show great signs and wonders, insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive every the very elect." That is a rather strong warning. We are engaged right now in great spiritual warfare.

What are these beings from outer space? I truly believe that we are being visited by beings that are extraterrestrial. I do not believe beings live on other planets. I believe that these visitors are fallen angels who have come to prepare the kingdom of the antichrist on this planet. I believe these are the same sons of God who came to have relationships with the daughters of men either physically or through some type of possession in Genesis 6, and produced a race of people who did not believe in the true God. I believe the same signs and wonders contributed to the great destruction in the past, and perhaps the men of renown who were born of fallen angels, the mighty men and giants described in Genesis 6, helped contribute to the unbelief of multitudes before the flood. I believe this explains why when God judged and destroyed the race in the great flood these giants and mighty men of renown were no more.

I believe also that this fits with Peter’s discussion Noah and the flood in his second epistle. The certain angels there said to be bound in the chains are those which participated in that terrible act of rebellion before the flood. They are chained and reserved unto judgment as a sign to others not to participate in the same disobedience. You will find that both II Peter and Jude tell of angels which are bound. Why are some angels who fell bound in chains and some fallen angels are free? The explanation may be discerned in man’s pursuit of sexual relationships with angels, not only before the flood, but also in Sodom and Gomorrah. Recall that the two angels came to see Lot to send the strangers outside that they might have relations with them. They recognized them as strangers and thought such relationships were possible.

The Bible says that in heaven we will be like angels, neither marrying nor giving in marriage. I believe all angels are males. In Genesis 6 the "sons of God" are said to have taken the daughters of men. I do not se how that can mean anything other than actual women. I believe that women were born either of the godly line of Seth or the ungodly line of Cain.

Illicit union of angels with women is, in my opinion, what must have happened in the past, and resulted in divine judgment and the changing of some angels. I believe this illustrates the fact that angels as revealed in the Bible, even fallen ones, have many powers, including the power of deception and others that we do not ordinarily attribute to them. From this we may predict that mankind is in for some strange surprises.

Already Satanism is on the rise. The church of Satan worships openly, using the Satanic Bible. The brazen picture of witchcraft has increased to such an extent that a reported one out of every 100 women living in the United States today is a witch. Accompanying the worship of Satan are sexual cults which worship the physical lust and desires in which Satan must be able to involve men and women through fallen angels.
